Ztella DAC Released KickStarter

I hope that you guys still remember about the Zorloo ZuperDac-S, it’s a great and portable DAC, I’ve been using it as alternative to my DAP and plug it into my laptop.

If you think that Zorloo stopped at the ZuperDac-S, you’ll surprised because they just released their new product in Kickstarter! it’s even smaller than the ZuperDac-S, how cool is that.

Ztella uses the latest generation of SABRE DAC from ESS Technology and delivers a stunning 120dB SNR and 0.0006% THD+N performance. It delivers a balanced, clear and articulated sound in a wide soundstage.

Ztella brings sound quality to a new level by bypassing the phone’s internal conversion using a digital USB connection. Ztella supports sampling frequencies up to 384kHz with 32-bit depth (8x of CD sampling) and DSD 1-bit encoding up to 5.6MHz (2x of SACD sampling), which eliminates unnecessary sample-rate and bit-depth conversion.

If you noticed that there’s a MQA logo, a little bit about MQA: MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and is small enough to stream or download.

By default you’ll get a USB-C to 3.5mm, Measured in at just 11cm and weighing just 5g. A bundled USB-A adapter will be included and allows you to connect to all popular mobile phones and computers.

For iOS users, don’t worry about this, Zorloo also has this lighting to USB-C converter (sold separately, you need HK$80 to your final pledge in Kickstarter).

Working with Zorloo in the past for the Zorloo SuperDac and Zorloo SuperDAC-S, I don’t have any doubt that Ztella would be a great product and you don’t have to worry to back their kickstarter with a track record of both product.

Keep in tune for the review! meanwhile you can go to the kickstarter page and pledge if you are interested over here (14 Days to go – 5th November 2019)
